Oh my goodness. The pics are hilarious! I mean a few of them. But most won't understand unless you were there with us yesterday.
Joanne and I made our way to Kaesha's place yesterday and who knew-that buddy of ours whipped up a wicked meal! She cooked carrot rice, veggies, chicken curry (rendang style) and sambal prawns. There was also a dish of apples with mayonaisse. It was awesome lar. Now I know there's at least a cook among my good friends. *hints* LOL
It was fantastic catching up and there was a lot of laughter. Thanks to the camera and plenty other factors. =) I hope I'm making all you school leavers jealous now, if you've never met up with secondary school friends since school ended for you. LOL
So Adam Lambert is gay and I'm not at all shell shocked. It was kinda obvious since the start and I was particularly intrigued by the written mail sent in to TheStar by these two British women.
It seems that they were on a holiday in KL when one of their bags got snatched from behind. They spent their remaining 2 nights at the hotel and they never want to visit Malaysia again.
This brings the Malaysian men and women in blue back to the limelight. I see that the number of snatch thefts are increasing and nothing has been done.
If the country wants to promote itself as a hot tourist destination, efforts have to be escalated to curb these social crimes. It was once a petty issue but it grew because no one stopped these criminals. Now, snatch thieves are improving themselves as well. They have upgraded to cars! Imagine the damage THAT will cause to our society. Next thing we know, snatch thiefs will move on to gruesome murders and even rape. Is this what Malaysia wants?
I know that we're moving into being a developed country but this sort of criminal activities have to be stopped first. Before we become a modern equipped nation, we have to become a more civilised, courteous, polite and considerate generation. There is no point in external growth when our morales are literally in the pits.
